The name Hiesig Eis.Werk.Statt. means Local.Ice.Cream.Parlour in English. Christina and Peter make their own classic and extravagant seasonal ice-cream varieties from local products and completely dispense with colourings, flavourings and preservatives. Milk, fresh cream and yoghurt come from the milk cooperative Vipiteno just around the corner, fresh fruit from the local farmers, honey from bee-keeper Joachim from Campi di Sotto and fresh eggs from the Schlernhof free-range farm.
